Norfolk Show

Well done to Willow class for an excellent performance at the Norfolk Show this week !

Time Warp ?

Having realised that this weekend sees the start of July, I'm wondering whether I may have slipped into a time warp somewhere along the line ?
So much has gone on in the past couple of months, we have hardly had time to stop and think !
Oak class have been to Coltishall on a weeks residential, they had a great time. Thanks to the staff who took them along.
We have appointed two new teachers ready for September and are really looking forward to them joining the team here at Middleton.
We are now of course rapidly heading towards the start of the summer holiday too. Over the summer break we are hoping to have some alterations made to the front office and entrance to the building. This will make the entrance much more user friednly ( and buggy friendly too) !

It's raining , it's pouring....

Well what a wet week it's been , still we have managed to get out at breaktimes for some fresh air. Year 6 had a good time at Crucial Crew learning all about emergency situations from fire to  gas leaks to internet safety. I have put some new pictures on our display screen today, if you are passing, do have a peep.

Busy Bees

Welcome back to the start of the summer term. Once again it's a busy time at school with lots going on and lots to fit into the next few months. We are hoping that the grass recovers in time to be able to use it over the summer and hopefully to have a sports day this year. I flicked through the diary yesterday and noticed that there are several exciting things pencilled in including cycling, residential visit, trips etc.
If anyone is interested in helping to plan a summer event such as a fete , do let me know .

Happy Easter

Happy Easter  - have a good break and we will see you all again on Monday 16th April

Nearly There

Well it's nearly the end of term and we are all feeling pretty tired ( children and staff ) ! We have had a busy day today with our Easter Fair this morning. The fair raised a total of £244 which will be added together with money coming in from the non uniform day tomorrow. Thanks to everyone who supported or helped at the fair.
It was good to see so many visitors at the music showcase on Tuesday, I was pleased to hear so many positive comment and how much you all enjoyed it.

New Term

All of the children looked very smart in their uniforms when they came into yesterdays assembly. They were all smiling so I presume they had all had a good Christmas break and were pleased to be back at school !
The school has just come out of assembly where BJ Puppets put on a shown with a Christian message, well worth a watch if you ever get the chance.
It's a chilly day and certainly very wintery, it will be coats zipped up and winter woolies on I think at breaktimes today.
